Throughout your stay, you can cross country ski along the network of trails that lace the backcountry, make your own path as you explore the area on snowshoes and enjoy hours of fun tobogganing down one of the hills. The Sacacomie Lodge is your door to nature. Located in the heart of the forest and bordering the Mastigouche wildlife reserve, it overlooks a majestic lake where the shore extends for more than 40 kilometres.

• Meet & Greet at Montreal airport.

• 3 nights at Sacacomie Lodge
• Half Board including full American Breakfast, from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast on day 4.

Accommodation Description:

Situated in pristine woodland, the Sacacomie Lodge is a perfect destination for winter sports enthusiasts or for those wishing to relax in natures splendour. Your accommodation at the log constructed lodge is in one of the 105 non-smoking comfortable country style guest rooms ( no TV in room) and 9 mini suites and 3 suites.The comfortable lodge offers a spa, health centre, restaurant, bar and seating areas for relaxation, all affording spectacular views of the majestic lake and its rolling winterland.

Dogsledding Excursion:

Accompanied by an experienced guide, you’ll be led by a team of gentle huskies through nearby narrow paths and on the surface of a frozen lake. Basic sledding techniques and instruction provided. A real once in a lifetime opportunity!

2 Day Dogsledding at Reserve Mastigouche:

Enjoy a 2 day dogsledding excursion at Reserve Mastigouche including 1 night at camp ( shared rooms) with sleeping bag and pillow. The trip includes transfers to and from Sacacomie Lodge, clothes for the expedition, 2 snacks, 2 lunches, 1 dinner and breakfast, and 1 ice fishing initiation.

• 1 dogsled per person
• Minimum 2 people for reservation
• An overnight at Sacacomie Lodge is mandatory to allow for storage of personal belongings
