Day 1:Arrival in Vancouver
Transfer independently to your Bed & Breakfast.
Pick up your Jonview Canada Roadbook upon
check in.The remainder of the day at leisure. Stay 2
nights in Vancouver.
Day 2:Vancouver
Enjoy an entire day exploring Vancouver's many
attractions including Chinatown, Gastown, Stanley
Park, Grouse Mountain and the Capilano
Suspension Bridge. Breakfast included.
Day 3:Vancouver to Whistler
(125km) Travel the Sea-to-Sky Highway through a
spectacular glacier-carved landscape of craggy fjords
and rugged mountain ranges. Clattering Shannon
Falls, en route to the world famous resort town of
Whistler, is a must see. Stay 2 nights in Whistler.
Breakfast included.
Day 4:Whistler
Nestled at the base of Blackcomb and Whistler
mountains, the resort offers championship golf
courses, endless walking and biking trails, and high
alpine hiking. Or head into Garibaldi Provincial Park
and explore its spectacular canyons, ravines and
lofty peaks. Breakfast included.
Day 5:Whistler to Clearwater
(570km) Follow a breathtaking route, charted by
adventurers during the 1860 Gold Rush, through
the wilderness of the Coast Mountains and descend
into the rolling ranchlands of the Cariboo Region.
Stay 2 nights in clearwater. Breakfast included.
Day 6: Clearwater / Wells Gray Provincial Park
A full day to enjoy all the wonders Wells Gray has
to offer. Hike to thundering Helmcken Falls, explore
the park on horseback, try river rafting or canoe
the serene waters of Clearwater Lake. Breakfast
included.
Day 7: Clearwater to Jasper
(340km) Leave the peaceful delights of Wells Gray
and follow the Thompson River to the awe-inspiring
relief of the Rocky Mountains. Mount Robson, the
highest peak in the Rockies, rises high above a
landscape of steep canyons and crystal-clear lakes.
Stay 2 nights in Jasper. Breakfast included.
Day 8: Jasper National Park
Jasper National Park's serene lakes and gentle
meadows stand in stark contrast to its jagged peaks
and spectacular glaciers. Some suggestions include a
visit to the Miette Hot Springs, Medicine Lake,
Maligne Canyon and a cruise on Maligne Lake.

Day 9: Jasper to Canmore / Banff
(305km) Traverse the Rocky Mountains along the
spectacular Icefields Parkway flanked by snowcovered
mountain ridges with cascading waterfalls
and sparkling glaciers. Stay 2 nights in Canmore.

Day 10: Banff National Park / Canmore
Canada's internationally renowned national park
offers a world of activity and sightseeing
opportunities.We suggest a visit to the Cave and
Basin, Natural History Museum or Bow Falls.You
can also choose from a wide variety of outdoor
activities such as hiking, horseback riding and
canoeing. Breakfast included.
Day 11: Canmore to Kelowna
(505km) Discover the hidden gems of Moraine or
Emerald lakes before leaving the Rockies along the
Trans- Canada Highway. En route to the Okanagan
Valley, traverse Yoho and Glacier National Parks and
witness the stunning beauty of Rogers Pass. Stay 2
nights in Kelowna. Breakfast included.
Day 12: Okanagan Valley /Kelowna
Tour the fertile Okanagan Valley renowned for its
wineries, orchards, beaches and recreational
opportunities.The roads are lined with fruitstands
with beautiful views awaiting at every turn.
Okanagan Lake is ideal for many watersports and
home to the mythical Okanagan Lake monster,
Ogopogo. Breakfast included.
Day 13: Kelowna to Victoria
(435km - land only) Today, follow the scenic
Coquihalla Highway and the rushing Fraser River to
Tsawwassen. Board BC Ferries for your ferry cruise
through the Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island.Visit
the renowned Butchart Gardens en route to
Victoria. Stay 2 nights in Victoria. Breakfast included.
Day 14:Victoria
A splendid and elegant city,Victoria is the capital of
British Columbia. Experience the unique British
flavour and explore the harbour, the totem poles of
Thunderbird Park and the Royal British Columbia
Museum. Round off your day with a traditional high
tea at the Empress Hotel. Breakfast included.
Day 15:Victoria to Comox / Courtenay
(220km) Meander along the Island Highway through
a landscape of wooded hills and surf-beaten shores.
Not to be missed are the ‘Mural Town’ of
Chemainus and the Quw’utsun’ Cultural and
Conference Centre in Duncan. For peaceful
relaxation, wander the miles of sandy beaches at
Qualicum Beach. Overnight in Comox / Courtenay.

DAY 16: Comox / Courtney to Gibsons / Sechelt
(124km - land only) Crossing the Strait of Georgia
keep a look out for wildlife, including orcas.Travel
along the ocean-side highway through the rustic
fishing villages of the Sunshine Coast. Enjoy the
panoramic vistas of rugged cliffs and serene inlets
en route to Gibsons. Overnight in Gibsons /
Sechelt. Breakfast included.
Day 17: Gibsons / Schelt to Vancouver
(25km - land only) Spend some time exploring the
Lower Sunshine Coast before enjoying one more
ferry ride en route to Vancouver. Overnight in
Vancouver. Breakfast included.
Day 18: End of tour
Check in at Vancouver International Airport for
your departure flight. Breakfast included. |
