Day 1:Arrival in Toronto
Transfer independently to your downtown hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. Stay 2 nights in Toronto.
Day 2:Toronto
Explore the many facets of this world-class
destination.Toronto boasts a fascinating mix of
multi-cultural neighbourhoods. From Chinatown to
Little Italy, Greektown on the Danforth to Little
Portugal, you’ll discover a virtual world within one
city. Some other highlights: the CN Tower and
spectacular SkyDome, Ontario Place, the Hockey
Hall of Fame, the Ontario Science Centre or the
Royal Ontario Museum.
Day 3:Toronto to Niagara Falls
(130km) Today’s route leads south. Discover the
historic village of Niagara-on-the-Lake proudly
displaying its 19 century heritage.Take some time to
browse through the quaint shops and boutiques
before continuing along the scenic Niagara Parkway
to Niagara Falls. Overnight in Niagara Falls.
Day 4: Niagara Falls to Kitchener
(145km) This charming rural region is home to the
University of Waterloo, Wilfred Laurier University
and Conestoga College. Founded in 1784, Kitchener
is the gateway to the Grand River Valley - world
renowned for its natural beauty, and local
watershed conservation areas, the valley offers over
30 miles of community trails for hiking, jogging,
cycling, or birdwatching. Overnight in Kitchener.
Day 5: Kitchener to Midland
(225km) Venture into the heart of Central Ontario
and the rural town of Midland - your gateway to
the picturesque 30,000 islands. Founded by
pioneering Jesuits, Midland offers visitors a rich
diversity of historical and natural beauty to admire.
Visit Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Huronia
Museum and Indian Village, Huronia Historical Parks
Discovery Harbour,Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre and
The Martyrs’ Shrine. Overnight in Midland.
Day 6: Midland to Pembroke
(375km) Enter the Pembroke / Ottawa Valley region.
A multicultural mosaic of English, Scottish, Polish,
Irish, German, Indian, French, Greek and Chinese
settlers make this a fascinating city to explore.
Explore the vast wilderness of Algonquin Provincial
Park, renowned for its hiking trails and canoe routes
that invite you to discover the diverse beauty of the
area’s flora and fauna. Overnight in Pembroke.
Day 7: Pembroke to Ottawa
(150km) Enjoy a scenic drive along the Québec-
Ontario border, and pass typical rural towns, such
as Renfrew and Arnprior. Overnight in Ottawa.
DAY 8: Ottawa to Tremblant
(170km) Head north into the Laurentian Mountains
of Québec.Visiting St. Jovite and Mont-Tremblant
Park, Québec's oldest provincial park. Arrive at the
luxury resort Tremblant, and stroll through the
beautiful pedestrian village. Overnight in Tremblant.
Day 9:Tremblant
Tremblant is world renowned as a four-season
destination and has an activity centre where you can
gather ideas and be pointed in the activity direction
you would like to take. Overnight at Tremblant.
Day 10:Tremblant to Québec City
(390km) Travel to Québec City - Canada's oldest
city and North America’s cradle of French heritage.
Visit The Fortifications, a historic national park, Place
Royale, the Basilica, the dramatic shrine at Ste.
Anne-de-Beaupre, Montmorency Falls and the Ile
d'Orleans. Stay 2 nights in Québec-City.
Day 11: Québec City
Discover what lies behind the impressive walls that
surround Québec City.The best way to see the
numerous historic buildings and experience the city’s
unique French culture is by walking through the
enchanting cobbled streets and narrow laneways.
Day 12: Québec City to Montréal
(250km) Follow the St. Lawrence river southwest, to
the thriving city of Montréal.Visit Notre-Dame
Basilica, Place d’Armes, rue St.Catherine, Old
Montréal, the ‘underground city’, Mont-Royal park,
the Biodome de Montréal and Insectarium, Olympic
Stadium, botanical gardens, Musee des Beaux Arts
and Oratoire St. Joseph. Spend the evening
exploring this cosmopolitan centre's bustling nightlife
and gourmet restaurants. Overnight in Montréal.
Day 13: Montréal to Kingston
(365km) Drive west across the border into rural
Ontario. En route stop at Upper Canada Village, an
impressive ‘living’ re-creation of a 19th century
Canadian pioneer village.You’re entering the
beautiful Thousand Islands region, where forested
islands lie amid tranquil lakes. Overnight in Kingston.
Day 14: End of tour
(259km) Take a leisurely drive along Lake Ontario
