| Experience the best of two distinct cultures.
From Toronto travel to Niagara Falls and then
onward to the magnificent scenery of Algonquin
Provincial Park. Following the St. Lawrence River,
enter historic Québec City and then head
northward to explore the province of Québec.
The cities of Montréal and Toronto will bring this
multi-cultural itinerary to a conclusion.

Day 1:Arrival in Toronto
Arrive at downtown hotel. Rest of day at leisure.
Stay 2 nights in Toronto.
Day 2:Toronto / Niagara Falls Excursions
(260km) Discover the historic village of Niagara-onthe-
Lake, before continuing along the scenic Niagara
Parkway to Niagara Falls.
Day 3:Toronto to Huntsville
(215km) Travel through rural villages to the Muskoka
cottage country, visit the Muskoka Pioneer Village.
Travel on to Huntsville, situated on the edge of
Algonquin Provincial Park, with its multitude of
activities and natural beauty. Stay 2 nights in Huntsville.
Day 4: Huntsville
The vast wilderness of Algonquin Provincial Park is
particularly renowned for its network of hiking trails
and waterways that invite you to discover the
diverse beauty of the park’s flora and fauna.
Day 5: Huntsville to Pembroke
(245km) Continue through Algonquin Park, stopping
to explore the visitor centre before arriving in the
small town of Pembroke. Overnight in Pembroke.
Day 6: Pembroke to Ottawa
(150km) Enjoy a scenic drive along the Québec-
Ontario border, and pass typical rural towns, such as
Renfrew and Arnprior. Overnight in Ottawa.
Day 7: Ottawa to Montréal
*End of the 7 day Ontario Explorer, return to Toronto.
(200km) Follow the south shore of the Ottawa
River towards Montréal, a city of cultural contrasts
and urban elegance. Overnight in Montréal.
*8 Day Québec Explorer begins.
Day 8: Montréal to Québec City
(250km) Following the shores of the St. Lawrence
River, you will reach Québec City, the only walled
city in North America. Remainder of day at leisure.
Stay 2 nights in Québec City.
Day 9: Québec City
See the numerous historic buildings and experience
the city’s unique French culture by walking through
the cobbled streets. Discover Québec City’s nightlife
and restaurants.
Day 10: Québec City to Île-aux-Coudres
(115km land only) Stop at Montmorency Falls, the
beautiful Ile d'Orleans and the shrine at Ste. Annede-
Beaupré.Travel by ferry across the St. Lawrence
River to where you overnight.
Day 11: Île-aux-Coudres to Saguenay Region
(255km land only) Stop in Tadoussac at the
confluence of the Saguenay Fjord and the St.
Lawrence River. Overnight in the Saguenay Region.
Day 12: Saguenay Region to St.Alexis-des-Monts
(440km) Discover Québec’s wild nature at the
forest lodge, travelling through dense terrain, where
trees and animals outnumber towns and people.
Overnight in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts.
Day 13: St.Alexis-des-Monts
Guests are offered activities such as forest walks
and mountain biking (on well-marked trails), access
to the resort’s private beach, boating, canoeing,
windsurfing and sailing on the tranquil lake.
Overnight in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts.
Day 14: St.Alexis-des-Monts to Belleville
(500km) Travel in to Ontario. Near Kingston, you
can explore the beautiful Thousand Islands, where
lushly forested islands lie amid beautiful lakes.
Continue to Belleville where you overnight.
Day 15: End of tour
(190km) Drive back to Toronto where the tour ends.
