Itinerary


Day 1:Arrival in Calgary
Pick up your rental car and make for your downtown hotel where you will collect your travel documents as you check-in. Overnight in Calgary.

Day 2: Calgary to Kananaskis
(90km) Leave Calgary for the Kananaskis Valley in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Overnight in Kananaskis.

Day 3: Kananaskis Valley
Beautiful scenery surrounds you in Kananaskis, with numerous outdoor activities at your disposal. Suggest golfing, swimming, tennis, horseback riding, hiking or biking. Overnight in Kananaskis.

Day 4: Kananaskis to Banff
(55km) Scenic drive to the famous resort of Banff, past Canmore and Harvey Heights.Visit Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls or ride the Sulphur Mountain Gondola. Stay 2 nights in Banff.

Day 5: Banff National Park

A full day to tour Banff and the surrounding area. Visit the Banff Natural History Museum, try river rafting or take a boat tour on Lake Minnewanka.

Day 6: Banff to Jasper
(285km) Drive to Jasper via the Icefields Parkway. We suggest a stop at Lake Louise and Peyto Lake
or take a ‘SnoCoach’ ride on the Columbia Icefield Stay 2 nights in Jasper.

Day 7: Jasper National Park

Full day to relax and tour Jasper and the surrounding area.We suggest a Maligne Lake boat cruise, or a ride on the Jasper tramway.

Day 8: Jasper to Sun Peaks Resort

(440km) Drive the scenic Yellowhead Highway to Sun Peaks Resort.We suggest a stop at Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies. Overnight in Sun Peaks Resort.

Day 9: Sun Peaks Resort to Harrison Hot Springs

(400km) Drive past Kamloops and continue into the Fraser Canyon. Go through Hell’s Gate and the Fraser Valley to the resort of Harrison Hot Springs. Stay 2 nights in Harrison Hot Springs.

Day 10: Harrison Hot Springs

Enjoy a relaxing day at Harrison Hot Springs. Harrison Lake offers a wide sandy beach and numerous recreational activities.

Day 11: Harrison Hot Springs to Victoria

(290km land only) The journey leads to Victoria on Vancouver Island. Suggest a visit to Beacon Hill Park. Drop in for afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel. Overnight in Victoria.

Day 12:Victoria to Vancouver

(70km land only) Butchart Gardens demands a morning visit then return to the mainland on a mini-cruise across the Strait of Georgia. Remainder of the day at leisure. Stay 2 nights in Vancouver.

Day 13:Vancouver

The entire day to explore Vancouver and the surrounding area.

Day 14: End of tour

Return your rental car.

    FERRY DETAILS: Ferry charges to/from Vancouver Island (ferries from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo on day 11 and from Victoria to Vancouver on day 12 cannot be pre-booked or pre-paid. Each crossing lasts one hour and thirty five minutes and you should allow approximately $45 per crossing for car and driver with an additional $11 per person per crossing).

  • Day 5: 4 hour Kananaskis white water raft adventure
  • Day 7: 4 hour Miette Hot Springs and Wildlife Tour
